Wedding Protocol

We will arrive a quarter or a half hour before the ceremony starts and begin to play prelude music while the guests arrive. This prelude music will be a selection of light baroque and classical pieces unless other pieces are preferred.

For the ceremony itself, South Sound Strings has a large repertoire of standard, classical wedding music for you to choose from. If you need help with knowing what pieces sound like, we can give you an idea over the phone.

You will need to decide on music for:
        - Seating of the mothers
        - Bridesmaid's entrance
        - Bride's entrance
        - Unity candle (if applicable)
        - Recessional

We will discuss with you or the wedding coordinator about cues for when to begin each piece.

We will wear black formal attire unless you specify otherwise.

We will send a contract for you to sign and return.

Other requirements

1. Armless chairs.
2. Shelter from direct sun and/or rain for outdoor events.
3. Full payment when we arrive on the site before the event begins.
4. Adequate directions to the site.
